Project Risks

Goal: Identify the primary risks for this project. Some of these risks apply across multiple iterations and are therefore included as a separate Unified Process document. Risks can also be thought of as project uncertainties.
Risk 1: GDAL:
- Can we successfully implement GDAL as a raster driver?
- Potential solution: Eliminate the ERDAS 7.4 driver.
- Potential solution: Change metadata to match GDAL specifications.
- Will be addressed in Iteration 2.
Risk 2: Cohort Architecture:
- Can cohorts be removed from the Core without sacrificing functionality?
- Will be addressed in Iteration 3.
