The Biomass Drought extension simulates mortality and loss of cohort biomass due to drought.
Brief Description: The Drought Extensions simulate the loss of cohort biomass to drought-induced mortality as a function of some measure of drought intensity and/or severity. User-supplied regression coefficients to predict biomass lost to mortality as a function of a measure of drought are required. The Drought Disturbance extension is coupled with the Drought Generator extension that simulates the variability of a user- defined drought measure across time steps. In addition to cohort removal, the disturbance extension also can optionally modify cohort establishment to reflect drought effects. The Drought Disturbance extension is only compatible with Biomass Succession (v3.2 and higher).
