Two things are needed to be done to install an extension with LANDIS-II:
1) The assembly needs to be placed in the Landis' bin folder (where the core assembly is). If you use "LANDIS-II Project" or "LANDIS-II Extension"
templates, this step is done automatically for you by "copy.." statement in Post-build event command line on Build Event page.

2) Information about the extension needs to be added to the database of installed extensions.
Step 1. View list of installed extensions
Two ways to view a list of installed extensions:
1) Start > All Programs > Landis-II > 5.1 > Documentation

2) Start a command propmt:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt
Enter "landis-extensions" at command prompt.
